She successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled "Adaptive Guidance in Extended Reality Learning Environments," under the supervision of Associate Professor Matjaž Kljun and Dr Alice Toniolo, and co-supervised by Associate Professor Klen Čopič Pucihar, Professor Dr Aaron Quigley, and Dr Angela Miguel.
