Accessibility statement

This Accessibility Statement applies to the website of the UP Andrej Marušič Institute (UP IAM) and is available at: https://www.iam.upr.si/

To meet accessibility requirements, the following has been ensured at the system level:

· a user-friendly website that is easy to navigate;

· content that is readable, logically structured, and easy to navigate;

· content equipped with internal and external links to improve connectivity between information;

· responsive design (layout adapts to different screen resolutions);

· appropriate colour contrast between text and background;

· predictable website behaviour;

· the page can be zoomed up to 200% (partial compliance with the standard);

· use of different heading levels is enabled.

We continuously monitor the accessibility of the website and regularly improve individual accessibility elements. The website https://www.iam.upr.si/ is partially compliant with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act.

Non-accessible content

Some published content may not fully meet all accessibility requirements due to disproportionate burden, as defined by the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act. Examples of such content include:

· scanned documents in PDF format,

· various complex data tables/spreadsheets,

· alternative text descriptions for uploaded images,

· content in formats that require the use of dedicated applications,

· certain archived materials and content.

In the future, when implementing major system changes, we will ensure that these contents are adapted to vulnerable groups to the greatest extent possible.
