(SI) Stalna miselna osredotočenost na delo ter zabrisane meje med delom in zasebnim življenjem postajajo ena izmed glavnih značilnosti sodobnih delovnih okolij. V primeru neučinkovitega razmejevanja med delom in zasebnim življenjem si zaposleni ne odpočijejo povsem, imajo omejen čas za okrevanje in se zato z novimi delovnimi nalogami in stresnimi dogodki na delu spoprijemajo v slabšem psihofiziološkem stanju. Posledice oviranega okrevanja so lahko akutna (npr. negativni afekt, izčrpanost) ali kronična obremenjenost in slabše duševno zdravje (npr. izgorelost). Čeprav so omenjene povezave dokaj dobro raziskane, pa literatura ne daje odgovorov na nekatere ključne vidike. Pričujoči raziskovalni projekt sestavljajo tri raziskave z naprednimi raziskovalnimi načrti, ki bodo skupaj prispevale k razumevanju, zakaj zaposleni prepletajo vidike dela in zasebnega življenja in kakšni so učinki tega na njihovo blagostanje pri delu. (EN) An “always on” mentality and blurred boundaries between work and private life have become inevitable characteristics of today’s working life for many employees. In case of poor work-home segmentation, employees are not fully rested, they have limited time for recovery and, in turn, have to deal with subsequent job demands and stressful work events in a suboptimal psychophysiological condition. When recovery is hampered, acute (e.g., negative affect, exhaustion) or chronic strain reactions and psychological impairments (e.g., burnout) may follow. Although much is known about these associations, crucial aspects are notably absent from the literature. Overall, the present research project encompasses three studies with rigorous research designs which altogether contribute to the understanding of why employees bring their work into their private life and how this affects their work-related well-being. |
