Between 24 January and 4 February, UP FAMNIT will host a 10-day international teacher training as part of the ERASMUS + project ELBA - Establishment of training and research centers and courses development on intelligent big data analysis in Central Asia.

The project ELBA is aimed at creating opportunities in training of highly profiled specialists in the field of Intelligent Big Data Analysis (IBDA) with different multidisciplinary backgrounds, and enabling the access to highly efficient modern IBDA instrumentation based on EU expertise and technologies which will contribute to sustainable development of educational institutions, local business enterprises and society at large.

The aim of the project is to improve academic capacity of professionals through developing and implementing multidisciplinary package of module-based courses for bachelor and master’s students, as well as professionals from the field of engineering of Intelligent Big Data Analysis (IBDA) in Central Asia countries, with collaboration with the industry.

To this end, training courses will be held over the next two weeks, attended by 28 teachers from four partner countries (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan).

UP FAMNIT has already hosted a similar training in September 2018, as part of the ECCUM project.
