(SI) V projektu bomo razvili lepilo na osnovi proteinov (iz ribjega kleja, ki predstavlja odpadek iz ribiške in živilske industrije), in ima izboljšano odpornost na vlago. Celovito bomo raziskali obnašanje takšnega lepilnega spoja, zlasti v okoljih z visoko vlažnostjo. Razvoj lepil bo vključeval neposredno ali posredno zamreženje aminoskupin proteionov ribjega kleja z uporabo kovalentnih (npr. epoksidirana naravna olja, maleinski anhidrid) in ionskih (CaCO3) zamreževalcev. Vpliv na okolje bomo obravnavali z analizo življenjskega cikla, v kateri bomo razvit lepila na osnovi proteinov primerjali s sintetičnimi lepili. Študija bo dopolnjena z analizo trga, ki bo opredelila potencialne potrošnike in njihove preference. (EN) In the project, we will develop a protein-based adhesive (from fish glue representing a waste from marine and food industry), which has improved resistance to moisture, and comprehensively investigate the behaviour of using such adhesive system, especially in environments with high humidity. The development of adhesives will involve the direct or indirect crosslinking of amino groups of fish glue proteins, using covalent (e.g. epoxidized natural oils, maleic anhydride) and ionic (CaCO3) cross-linking agents. Environmental impact will be considered by a life cycle analysis comparing the developed protein-based adhesives with synthetic ones. A market analysis will complete the study to identify potential consumers and their preferences. |
