(SI) Modifikacija lesa (kemična, termična, impregnacija) je izbor inovativnih postopkov, ki se trenutno uporabljajo. Čeprav je znanih veliko vidikov teh obdelav, temeljni vpliv postopka na zmogljivost izdelka, okolje in scenarije ob koncu življenjske dobe ostajajo neznani. Bistvenega pomena je vključiti interaktivno oceno parametrov postopka, lastnosti razvitega izdelka in vplivov na okolje. Za optimizacijo modifikacijske obdelave za zmanjšanje vplivov na okolje je treba zbrati veliko več informacij o vseh dejavnikih, povezanih s procesom, ki vplivajo na okolje (HOS, poraba energije, uporaba ob koncu življenjske dobe itd.). V tem ukrepu bo preučena predelava modifikacij in oblikovanje izdelkov s poudarkom na njihovih vplivih na okolje. Za to bo potrebna analiza celotne vrednostne verige, od gozda prek predelave, vgradnje, uporabe, konca življenjske dobe, druge/tretje življenjske dobe in nazadnje sežiga s pridobivanjem energije. (EN) Wood modification (chemical, thermal, impregnation) is an assortment of the innovative processes currently being adopted. Though many aspects of these treatments are known, the fundamental influence of the process on product performance, the environment, and end of life scenarios remain unknown. It is essential to integrate interactive assessment of process parameters, developed product properties, and environmental impacts. To optimize modification processing to minimize environmental impacts, much more information must be gathered about all process related factors affecting the environment (VOC, energy use, end of life use, etc.). This Action will investigate modification processing and products design with emphasis on their environmental impacts. This will require analysis of the whole value chain, from forest through processing, installation, inservice, end of life, second/third life (cascading) and ultimately incineration with energy recovery. |
