An exhibition showcasing the achievements and portraits of the recipients of the highest national awards in the fields of science, research, and innovation for 2025 will be on display at Krakovski nasip in Ljubljana until April 16, 2026.
Among them are two colleagues from our university::

(UP FAMNIT, UP IAM, IMFM) - Dr. Urban Bren, recipient of the Zois Award for significant achievements in the field of biomolecular simulations
(UM FKKT, UP FAMNIT, IOS)
The exhibition features all of this year’s recipients of the Zois Awards and Recognitions, the Puh Awards, and the Science Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia Award, whose exceptional work significantly contributes to the development of science, research excellence, and innovation in our country. On Science Day, the University of Primorska opened a gallery featuring recipients of Zois Awards or recognitions and the Science Ambassador recognition who are employed at the University of Primorska; you can visit it at the University Library.
The exhibition on Krakovski nasip offers an opportunity to learn more about their research achievements, innovations, and the impact of their work on society, the economy, and the future development of the Slovenian research landscape.
We invite you to take some time for a stroll along the Ljubljanica River, view the exhibition, and be inspired by the exceptional achievements of Slovenian scientists.
